What you will Learn in the Class

Learn how to calm the mind, focusing attention, and cultivating mindfulness, as well as strategies for managing stress, emotions, and improving overall mental clarity and well-being

Breath Awareness

Focusing on the natural rhythm of your breath, observing each inhale and exhale, and gently bringing your attention back to your breath whenever your mind wanders

Mantra Meditation

Repeating a specific word, phrase, or sound (such as "om") to help focus the mind and achieve a state of meditation

Progressive Relaxation

Systematically tensing and then relaxing different muscle groups to release physical tension and calm the mind.

Visualization

Using guided imagery or mental visualization to create peaceful and serene mental scenes.
